Since 2012, our team has built more than 1,250 kitchens and bathrooms for clients all around the Central Valley and Tri-Valley areas of Northern California. We have a great group of past customers and fans and are looking to further these relationships and begin new ones. That’s where you’ll help.

Job Description:
- Conduct 5-10 phone consultations per day with potential customers, determining if CRATE is the right fit for their project needs. If so, you’ll arrange a meeting with the customer and our sales team. If not, you’ll help the potential customer find another vendor.
- Welcome and educate walk-in customers, moving them toward the next steps in our sales system.
- Manage the various gift/reward programs CRATE uses to show appreciation to potential, current, and past customers, including management of the .
- Work directly with our Vice President of Operations to assist in marketing and growth initiatives.
- Work with fellow team members to develop, schedule, and conduct employee and customer events.
- Work with administrative staff to prepare for new employees and offer them a great “Day 1” experience.
- Please note: This position may entail occasional work outside of M-F, 7-5. Any deviations from standard hours would be discussed in advance.
Required Qualifications:
- Love to make people smile. You’ll be dealing directly with clients and fellow team members on an hourly basis. You’ll be an ambassador of our brands and, therefore, must represent CRATE well!
- Excellent Communication Skills. Clear and effective communication is essential for interacting with potential customers over the phone, understanding their needs, and conveying information about the company’s services.
- You must be organized. Highly organized. If people around you always tell you how organized you are, then you are just the person we’re looking for!
- Be a driven self-starter.
- Possess excellent written communication skills.
- Be able to take direction and constructive criticism and work as part of a team.
- Have impeccable time-management skills.
Greatly Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Home Improvement Industry is a huge plus. Familiarity with home improvement products, services, terminology, and industry practices can be advantageous for effectively understanding the customer’s needs and answering questions.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, such as sales, customer support, or receptionist positions, is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM software, or the ability to learn.
- Ability to learn new computer software.
Compensation:
Hourly rate contingent upon experience. Hourly rate from $20-26/hour.
