When kitchen & bath CRATE completed the acquisition of AAI Tile & Stone in July, 2021, CRATE inherited a slew of critical assets. But even more importantly, CRATE was able to bring the 5-person AAI fabrication team on board as full-time team members!
The leader of this team is Brian Porter, kitchen & bath CRATE’s first Fabrication Manager. CRATE founder and CEO Scott Monday has worked with Brian for well over a decade and was more than excited to have him as a co-worker.
“In my 20-year construction career, I’ve never met a more talented stone fabricator than Brian,” says Monday. “I’ve seen him do things with countertops that are simply magic! We’re so lucky to have him as a team member now. The real winner, though, will be our customers when they see the work Brian’s team produces.”
Brian oversees the templating, fabrication, and installation of all CRATE countertops. One of his many gifts is foreseeing the inevitable challenges with custom fabrications and generating a plan to resolve them.
