Brand New Kitchen in This Roseville Remodel

The original cabinets were made of red oak, providing a strong, solid foundation but lacking the modern design elements that today’s homeowners crave. The new cabinets feature a classic Shaker style with 45-degree bevels on the inside, giving the kitchen a timeless yet contemporary feel. The cabinets were retrofitted with Euro Soft Close Blum hinges, providing a smooth, quiet closing experience that adds to the overall luxury of the space. These newly installed cabinet faces include hardware from Amerock, specifically the Candler 3-3/4 inch center-to-center cabinet pulls in a chic champagne bronze finish. This hardware choice not only adds a touch of elegance but also complements the overall design, enhancing both the look and usability of the cabinets.
Countertops
No kitchen remodel is complete without new countertops, and for this kitchen remodel, the choice was clear—Bedrosians Mountain Mist countertops. These countertops were selected for their polished finish and feature a 2″ mitered eased edge, providing a sleek and modern look that still retains a touch of classic charm. The countertops feature a waterfall edge, adding a luxurious feel while ensuring the design flows seamlessly across the kitchen. The homeowner opted for a slab backsplash over the sink to continue the refined aesthetic while ensuring easy cleaning and maintenance. However, Bedrosians’ Celine white gloss tiles were also used as a backsplash elsewhere, providing a subtle yet sophisticated backdrop that doesn’t compete with the stunning countertops but instead complements them perfectly.
Sinks and Fixtures
A kitchen’s sink and fixtures play a vital role in its functionality, and for this kitchen remodel, the choices were both practical and visually appealing. The new sink is the Ruvati Roma 30″ Undermount Stainless Steel Single Bowl Sink. This sink is deep, measuring 9 inches, making it ideal for washing large pots and pans while maintaining a sleek, modern look. The homeowners selected a Delta Trinsic Faucet in champagne bronze to match the cabinet hardware. This touchless faucet offers both convenience and style, contributing to the kitchen’s high-end feel. Complementing the faucet is a Delta Trinsic Soap Dispenser in the same champagne bronze finish, furthering the cohesiveness of the design. The kitchen also features an InSinkErator 1/2 HP Badger 5 Compact Disposal, a compact yet powerful solution for disposing of kitchen waste. The stainless drain adds a modern touch to the sink area, ensuring that every detail aligns with the overall aesthetic.
Appliances
In addition to aesthetic upgrades, this kitchen remodel included appliance replacements for both the range and microwave. The homeowners were involved in selecting new, high-quality appliances that not only match the design but also improve the kitchen’s functionality. The new appliances enhance the kitchen’s performance while maintaining the sleek, modern aesthetic established throughout the remodel.
Tile
One of the standout features of this kitchen remodel is the tile work, which adds texture and depth to the space. As mentioned earlier, the Bedrosians Celine White Gloss Tiles were used for the backsplash. These tiles were arranged in a 1/2 offset pattern, providing a clean, contemporary look. The grout was TEC Power Grout in standard white with a 1/16th inch grout width, ensuring a seamless and refined finish.
Paint
Paint is often overlooked in kitchen remodels, but it plays a significant role in setting the mood and tone of the space. For this kitchen remodel, the walls were painted in Sherwin-Williams Egret White, a warm and neutral shade that provides a perfect canvas for the other design elements. The ceiling was painted Behr Swiss Coffee, creating a clean, bright look that opens up the space. An accent wall, painted in Behr Chocolate Froth, adds warmth and depth to the room. This rich color contrasts beautifully with the lighter cabinetry and countertops, creating a harmonious balance that makes the kitchen feel cozy yet sophisticated.
