For this family on Davis Street in Ripon, California, their kitchen was ready for a change. With worn materials, limited storage solutions, and a design that no longer matched their needs, they turned to kitchen & bath CRATE to deliver a modern, functional space. This comprehensive Ripon kitchen remodel brought new life to their home, showcasing how the right updates can transform both style and utility.

Cabinets
The cabinetry was a cornerstone of this remodel. The original red oak cabinets were retained and revitalized with fresh paint and hardware. Amerock Westerley knobs and drawer pulls in oil-rubbed bronze added a touch of elegance and tied the design together.
Additional modifications included:
- Pantry Pull-Outs: Six new pull-out shelves were installed in the pantry, significantly enhancing storage and accessibility.
- Trash Pull-Outs: A custom pull-out was added to the cabinetry, seamlessly integrating functionality while maintaining the kitchen’s clean lines.
These updates preserved the integrity of the original wood while elevating the overall design with modern details.
Countertops and Tile
No kitchen remodel is complete without a countertop upgrade. For this project, the homeowners chose Bedrosians Classic White Jumbo slabs in a polished finish. These quartz countertops are known for their durability and timeless appeal. The countertops feature a mitered eased edge for a clean, sophisticated look, while their polished surface reflects light to make the space feel brighter and more expansive.
Additionally, the countertop material was extended to create a window sill, ensuring a cohesive design throughout the kitchen.
To complement the quartz countertops, the backsplash features Bedrosians Celine Sage Matte tile in a herringbone pattern. This elegant tile adds texture and visual interest, tying together the overall design. The backsplash grout, TEC Power Grout in Driftwood, ensures durability and a polished finish.
Sink & Faucet
The sink area was another focal point of this remodel. A Blanco Precis Silgranit undermount sink in Truffle was installed, offering both style and functionality. This spacious single-bowl sink is known for its durability and resistance to stains and scratches.
Paired with the sink is the Kohler Simplice faucet in Vibrant Stainless, featuring a high-arching spout for easy use. A matching soap dispenser was also installed, ensuring that the space remains clean and uncluttered.
Appliances & Fixtures
A significant aspect of the remodel was upgrading the fixtures to the Delta Ashlyn Monitor 17 Shower Trim with In2ition Hand Shower in Brilliance Stainless. This fixture not only looks stunning but also offers versatile functionality, making showers a more luxurious experience. The bathtub was upgraded to a Kohler Underscore Undermount Acrylic Tub in White, paired with Delta Ashlyn Wall Mount Tub Set, enhancing both the aesthetics and practicality of the bathing area.
Details make the difference in any remodel, and the fixtures in this kitchen were chosen with care. From the oil-rubbed bronze cabinet hardware to the InSinkErator Badger 5 garbage disposal, every element was selected to balance form and function. The lighting was upgraded with six recessed wafer lights, offering a bright and inviting ambiance.

The color palette was carefully chosen to enhance the kitchen’s new look. The cabinetry was painted in Sherwin-Williams Amazing Gray, providing a neutral yet warm backdrop. The walls and ceiling were finished in Sherwin-Williams Greek Villa, a soft white that brightens the space and highlights the details of the remodel.
