Before & After Custom Kitchen

Wow! This kitchenCRATE Custom remodel is simply stunning! The homeowner had two main pain points that we set out to solve through this transformation: 1) replace the builder-grade cabinets with quality, custom cabinets and 2) transform the kitchen aesthetically into a modern masterpiece! We’re extremely pleased with the finished product, and we cannot wait for this homeowner’s family to create memories for many years to come in the new space!

As you’ll notice, the new cabinet doors are a shaker-style design with a custom inside edge. The more narrow top drawers have a slab front to allow for easy access to the pull and the bottom drawers have the matching shaker style. The frameless cabinetry design offers a modern flair with very little of the cabinet’s face-frame exposed and pairs perfectly with the overall design! The dark granite countertop at the perimeter provides an ideal dark contrast to the perimeter cabinet paint and breath-taking marble backsplash. The mosaic accent tile at the cooktop intentionally complements the light and dark contrast of the cabinets, countertop, and backsplash, and goes one step further by being the perfect yin and yang fit with the gorgeous decorative hood.

As you walk into this room, your eye is immediately drawn to the decorative hood, and the beautiful accent tile below further anchors that area as the focal point of the design. Our favorite feature of this kitchen is the incredible platinum white granite countertop at the island with a beautiful pattern that only natural stone can provide — just scroll up again and take a look at that counter! We love how this kitchen renovation turned out, and so did the homeowners, take a look below to see what they had to say about their project.

Homeowner Testimonial

What was your favorite part of the CRATE process?

I was very impressed by the complete process. From the original meeting with Jeffrey and throughout the whole planning process. The knowledge and expertise of the whole design team. It made the entire process of laying out the cabinet design and color choices of materials a pleasant experience. Having gone through a complete kitchen remodel many years ago, KB Crate has refined the whole process to make it a much better experience for the homeowner.

What was your favorite part about the CRATE team?

The crate team was great. Always on time, courteous, professional and truly cared about the end result is what we wanted.

What way, or ways, could we have better served you? (Please be brutally honest, this is the only way we will get better as a company!)

There will always be little glitches along the way with a complete kitchen remodel. You and your team responded and corrected them in a timely manner. Overall, we are very pleased with the look, layout and functionality of our new kitchen. Friends and family have been very impressed.
