Was there anything about the process or project that surprised you? If so, what was it?
The best surprise was when the project ran ahead of schedule…which we greatly appreciated. There is no question that the service was excellent.

Bathroom Remodel Day by Day Progress
Here’s how we did it:
(Note: We added a few extra days to our normal 7-day process to accommodate the owner-request add-ons.)
Day 1 – Demo Day! On this first day, we set up plastic walls to protect the home from dust, protected the path from the entry door to the bathroom with building paper, and then went to town removing the countertops, backsplash, vanity, shower tile and flooring. Toward the end of the day we created the template for the new quartz countertops, which take a few days to fabricate off-site.
Day 2 – The new Kohler Villager bathtub in white was installed along with the new shower valve.
Day 3 – The bathCRATE team was back on site to patch and repair the sheetrock.
Day 4 – All of the walls and ceiling in the bathroom were painted. Kelly-Moore Icy Waterfall with a semi-gloss finish was applied to the walls and Kelly-Moore Swiss Coffee with a semi-gloss finish was applied to the ceiling.
Days 6 & 7 – The quartz artisans were on site to install MSI Quartz in Arctic White quartz walls in the shower.
Day 8 – The bathCRATE team was onsite to install the new red oak vanity.
Days 9 & 10 – The flooring experts arrived to install the Bedrosians Verona Silver 12″ x 12″ porcelain tiles. The flooring was grouted using Laticrete Smoke Grey grout.
Day 11 – The countertop installation team arrived to install the Kohler Caxton sink in white, the MSI Arctic White quartz countertop with a mitered edge and the Bedrosians Interlude Harmony mosaic tiles on the backsplash.
Days 12 & 13 – The transformation hit the homestretch with the installation of the Pfister Avalon widespread faucets and Pasadnea shower fixturres in Satin Nickel, Kohler Highline toilet, mirrors, light fixtures, accessories and the new shower door. After the final items were installed the entire project was cleaned, top-to-bottom.
