There are so many great new features about this bathroom construction that it’s hard to know where to start! The vanity was modified to remove the old make-up counter area in the middle and new drawers were created to provide more storage, and on top, the vanity now has a flat countertop space. After the modifications were made, the vanity was refinished by our team in Kelly Moore’s Malibu Beige, which pairs nicely with the flooring, wall paint, countertop and the shower area. Moving over to the shower area, these homeowners wanted a larger shower area so our team removed the tub, patched up the exterior window and provided them with a walk-in shower. As a convenient feature, we installed towel hooks outside of the shower for easy towel access. Lastly, we ripped out the old carpet and installed new 8″x36″ tile through the bathroom and adjacent closet and water closet.
But don’t just take our word on how well this bathroom construction job turned out. Look below for the project specifications and extensive before and after pictures!

Here’s What the Customer Had to Say
Participating in our CRATE project was more fun than we expected, and that surprised us! We had fun with the contracted workers, for example, the guys from Tribute Stone and Tile made their four days with us a blast due to their great attitude, music choices and beautiful skills. The CRATE workers all had great attitudes about their work, they truly showed how much they love their jobs through a smile, kind word, and pep in their step. We also enjoyed preparing a BBQ lunch for the guys from CRATE as a way to show our gratitude for their work.
The best part of the CRATE process, besides the people, is the timeline. The job supervisor provided us with a clearly laid out timeline of the work to be done and it was followed precisely. Start to finish the job lasted three weeks in our home, while the process began several weeks earlier though planning and design meetings, the actual work was completed remarkably well in a short period of time. A close runner up to the timeline is the design meeting, we had some fear regarding design, which was quickly thwarted by the perfectly matched team of Willie and Casey.
The CRATE team is very particular about following the company processes, we were pleased to see how each member of the CRATE team demonstrated what was expected of them with integrity and thoughtfulness, keeping the customer at the center of their work. What a joy it was to employ a company who modeled kindness and efficiency top down from the owner, job supervisor, designers, to all the workers and contractors, as homeowners, we will sing their praises.
