Our first bathCRATE project is complete and we think you’ll agree, it’s amazing! Sure, adding the adjacent laundry room to the scope increased the difficulty factor of this job a bit. But in the end, both rooms turned out to be a stunning representation of the bathCRATE process.
From the sparkling quartz countertops to the serene shower tile to the sleek new tile flooring, these finishes came together without a hitch, and much to the customer’s satisfaction.

We love our beautiful new bathroom!
It’s sometimes hard to visualize how things will look when all the elements come together. But, we couldn’t be more pleased with how our bathroom and utility room turned out — from the quartz countertop to the tile floors and shower walls to the painted cabinetry to the fixtures.
From start to finish, the process, the people and the completed project all exceeded our expectations.
Some specifics:
The Process: Everything was very well organized, planned down to the smallest detail, and clearly explained in advance with a timeline that allowed us to know what exactly would be happening when.
Communication throughout was excellent. From the initial planning stage on, the bathCRATE team was very considerate and responsive to our desires, provided a solid range of options for materials, and then showed flexibility in allowing us to select materials that were perfect for us.
The process went very smoothly, the detailed timeline was followed closely, and the disruption to our life was minimal.
The bathCRATE team: From the top down, what a great group of people — professional, polite, productive, and to a person committed to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
The two main partners both communicated consistently with us, letting us know where things stood, asking us if we had questions or concerns, and making sure things were being done right.
Having the designer offer professional advice on tile, counter and paint colors was an unexpected and much-appreciated plus.
The crews who did the actual work — both bathCRATE employees and sub-contractors — were very focused and productive. And they were as neat and tidy as is possible in construction work.
One thing that particularly impressed us: By their words and actions, the bathCRATE employees showed real pride in the quality work they did — and pride in working for a company committed to quality. They represent Trinity Renovation very well.
The finished product: As mentioned at the start, we couldn’t be more happy with the beautiful new bathroom and adjacent utility room.
Surprises?: Based on our knowledge of Trinity Renovation’s reputation for high-quality work, we had high expectations going into this project. And our bathCRATE project not only met but exceeded those expectations.
We are pleased and privileged to recommend bathCRATE without reservation!

Day by Day Bathroom Remodel Progress
(Note: We added a few extra days to our normal 7-day process to accommodate the owner-requested add-ons and an additional room.)
Here’s how we did it:
Day 1 – Demo Day! On this first day, we set up plastic walls to protect the home from dust, protected the path from the entry door to the bathroom with building paper, and then went to town removing the countertop, backsplash, plumbing fixtures, cabinet doors, and drawers. Toward the end of the day, we created the template for the new quartz countertops, which take a few days to fabricate off-site.
Day 2 – Installed the Kohler Villager bathtub in white, repaired water damage discovered after demolition, and replaced the greenboard and shower valve.
Day 3 – Since all the walls and the ceilings had been protected, our painters began preparing and priming the cabinets. Using a high-grade, oil-based primer, every inch of the cabinets were caulked, sanded and primed. This is the first (and perhaps most critical) step of creating a durable paint finish.
Day 4 – The painters then applied two coats of Kelly-Moore Dura-poxy paint in Clear Sand to the thoroughly sanded and primed cabinets. This same priming and painting process was used on the doors and drawers, which are painted off-site in a climate-controlled paint booth for the highest possible quality.
Day 5 – The walls and ceiling were painted with Kelly-Moore Dura-poxy paint in Shoji Screen.
Day 6 – The team at AAI Granite & Tile arrived to install the Emser Strands Oyster 12 x 24 tiles set in a brick pattern in the shower. This was grouted with Laticrete Light Pewter grout. They also began installing the laundry room flooring using Bedrosians Verona Taupe 13″ x 13″ tiles and Laticrete Natural Grey grout.
Day 7 – AAI was back on site to install the two new Kohler Caxton undermount sinks in white and the Bedrosians Santorini quartz countertop with a mitered edge and backsplash. The bathCRATE team also installed the baseboard in the laundry room.
Day 8 – The plumbing fixtures were installed. The shower received a beautiful new Pfister Avalon tub and shower fixture with a brushed nickel finish while the sinks received new Pfister Avalon widepread faucets with brushed nickel finishes.
Days 9 & 10 – AAI was back on site one last time to install the Bedrosians Verona Taupe 13″ x 13″ tiles with Laticrete Natural Grey grout to the bathroom floor.
Day 11 & 12 – The bathCRATE team installed the baseboard in the bathroom. The transformation then hit the home stretch with the installation of the freshly-painted cabinet doors and drawers. The final day of the project included an array of “touch-up” items: all outlets and switches were replaced, the Kohler Highline toilet, lights, fan, mirrors, and shower door were installed and the entire project was cleaned, top-to-bottom.
