Qualifications:

  • You must be organized. Highly organized. If people around you always tell you how organized you are, then you are just the person we need.
    Know how to schedule field manpower, including creation of Gantt workflow schedule, communication to employees and monitoring results.
    Understand residential construction materials and methods.
  • Be a driven self-starter.
  • Be able to solve problems on your own after extensive training and with the use of a pre-established construction system.
  • Love to make people smile. You’ll be dealing directly with clients, co-workers, subcontractors, designers, and an assortment of other professionals. You’ll be an ambassador of our brands, and therefore must represent us well.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to take direction, constructive criticism and work as part of a team.
  • Have impeccable time-management skills.
  • Be able to travel, perhaps daily, up to 1.5 hours one-way from Modesto as we expand into neighboring communities.

Greatly Desired:

  • At least 5 years of “hands on” construction experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in or around the residential construction industry.
  • General knowledge of the building industry (Residential).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM software, or the ability to learn.
  • Ability to learn new computer software.

Job Description:

  • Work with company management to manage 6-8 projects under construction at any given moment.
  • Once training is completed, you’ll help grow our Modesto, CA location and also our expansion into the Tri-Valley and Sacramento regions.
  • Project management duties will include: daily project oversight, daily interfacing with customers, scheduling of field staff with the rest of the management team, pulling permits, calling in inspections, ordering of job related materials, quality control, subcontractor oversight and project close-out.
  • Please note: This position will require work outside of M-F, 7-5. Please do not apply if you are unable to meet this requirement.

Compensation:

Base salary contingent upon experience. Salary range from $55-70,000 annually.
